Meet the Host: Jessica Davis
Hi, I’m Jessica—
Host of Block Out the Noise
I’m a licensed therapist and mindset coach, but more importantly, I’m someone who truly gets how heavy anxiety can feel—especially when it’s telling you that you’re not good enough, that you’ll mess up, or that you should just stay quiet.
I work with teens and young adults who feel stuck in their own heads—overthinking everything, afraid to make a mistake, and feeling like no matter how hard they try, it’s never enough.
I created this podcast so you’d have a space to come to when things feel overwhelming—a place that reminds you you’re not alone, and that there is a way forward, even if it’s just one small step at a time.
This isn’t about being perfect or never feeling scared.
It’s about learning to be kind to yourself, to keep going even when it’s hard, and to start believing that you don’t have to have it all figured out to make progress.
You don’t have to feel ready to take the next step.
You just have to start.

Why This Podcast Was Created
This podcast was born from a real need. As a licensed therapist and mindset coach, I’ve seen how anxiety shows up in the lives of teens and young adults—not because they’re not capable, but because fear convinces them they’re not ready, that one mistake means failure, or that they have to get it perfect to be good enough.
I wanted to create something that could meet people in those moments between therapy sessions—or before they’re ready to take that step—to remind them that they’re not alone and that change is possible.
Block Out the Noise is that space. A place you can come back to when things feel heavy, and a companion for the days when you need just one person to say: “You’ve got this.”
